Alignment completely out of wack - everything loose!

I took my 99 TJ offroading today for the first time since I got my lift and new 32"s. I had an alignment done at the shop up the street last week and didn't drive it again until offroading today.

So I am driving down the bumpy unpaved road when I realize my steering wheel is turned to 9'oclock the whole time. We finally get to the highway to head to a different spot so I stop to check what is going on up front. Every nut and bolt on my tie-rod and drag link is loose to the touch. My wheels are obviously not straight.

What the heck happened? Could that have happened just from bouncing around on the road for an hour or did the shop f-up and not tighten things up enough? I have certainly abused this Jeep worse then this in the past and never had an issue.

Has anyone heard of the every nut and bolt on the track bar and tie rod working themselves loose?

Look at the DW sticky's.

Don't just tighten. Pull the bolts out. Especially the TB and inspect the hole for damage/ovaling.
Toe is the only adjustment that can be made on a stock Tj/Jk. Steer center with the drag link after toe is set.
Very easy to do in the driveway.

Don't let you situation go. DW can and will destroy your whole front end .

Not every one of them.... but I have had my trackbar at the axle work loose... and my draglink... only because I didn't tighten it up all the way....

Sounds like you need to talk to your shop again....

Sounds like you need to bring it to a different shop from now on. Someone forgot to torque everything down before giving it back.
