In order for you to understand and not just take my word for it, here's the quick and dirty--you've got 3 "levels"--axles, frame, tub. Your axles are constrained and located to the frame by the suspension. Your frame is held up over the axles by coil springs. Your tub is bolted to the frame at the 11 body mounts.

Suspension lift = taller springs (or pucks that go above the OEM springs) to raise the frame further away from the axles

Body lift = taller body mounts (or pucks that sit on top of the OEM body mounts) that position the tub further away from the frame.

MML= Replacement motor mounts or spacers that go under the OEM mounts that raise the engine up. In order to understand why this is beneficial, you've got to have a better understanding of how this all works and you'll need to be able to visualize it.

Leveling kit= just a gimmicky marketing term for pucks that go above the coil springs. These are the same pucks used in "budget boosts."

Just get under your Jeep and look at things. It's not rocket science. It'll make sense if you just look at it.

1. lifts your suspension so you have more travel in it.

2. lifts the body only up off the frame.

3. moves the motor mounts up so the motor is actually raised.

4. lifts the front a little more than the rear to eliminate the factory rake.

1. Suspension

a lift consisting of taller springs, shocks, etc that raise the jeep up to fit taller tires, and give more flex.

2. Body Lift

a lift that raises the body higher above the frame via pucks at the body mounts

3. Motor Mount Lift

raises the engine up a little by either spacers at the engine mounts, or taller aftermarket mounts, used in conjunction with a body lift to align the fan shroud, to help eliminate driveline vibes after a suspension lift, or, to help make things happy after installing a high clearance belly pan

4. Leveling Kit

a spacer, or slightly taller front spring to level out the front of a jeep and get rid of the raked look it might have

5. Anything else i missed???

a spacer lift, it is pucks that go on top of springs to add some extra height.
