All these beeping complaints on one day.

I think it's a coordinated alien attack. Just like the movie 'Independence Day' . This can't be coincidence that all of these TJ's are coming alive on the same day.

its a alien conspiracy. now you must go to the mothership where they will take you to jeep heaven! all the rock crawling you can dream of and only the bottomless of bottomless mudpits. trail after trail after trail. oh yes you are a choosen one. be thankful.

i dont think its a bunch of complaints, its just one guy who searched the forums and is reviving every old beep problem thread asking if its resolved, since like most forums, people dont update with their problems. they fix it and forget the ever asked the question... thus leading to someone searching not getting info... which leads to the saaaamme questions asked over and over and over

thats why automatic subscription to the threads you post in should be set as default vs what it is now.

i agree, but all the emails get annoying and i end up turning it off.

its up to the person to feel like updating the thread really.

most people get on and the 1st post is always HELP!!!

then they get their answer and go back to trolling

cant knock them for it, its not required to follow any certain format to use forums..

but in a perfect world, there would be one huge faq where ALL the - HELP! WONT START threads would be kept together, ALL the - HELP! will these tires fit? would be kept together, etc..

it would keep the questions from getting reposted a million times.

but keep in mind the owner of this site makes money for advertisements, and more posts are involved in those calculations as well.

one of the best examples of this kind of stuff is if you ever go to yahoo answers.

its a bunch of idiots posting the most stupid questions.. ALL of them can easily be googled. half the answers are copy and paste from google, the other half are retarted. not saying this site is like that.. but it just shows that most people refuse to search before they ask.

I agree, they do get anoying however if you dont like it, you go to settings and you change it. I mean take a look at reality here. Most new users go to yahoo, search jeep wrangler knocking front or whatever their problem is, this forum pops up, so they come here and create a new account. They post their question and thats it. Many never even return. I have done that my self on 2 or 3 forums. I go, i search, no luck so i create an account and ask a question and then once i close the page (especially if its an oddball website), i cant find that forum ever again without looking through 500 pages of history. Email notification set as default might be annoying to the normal member like you and me since we know the links in this forum in our sleep but to others that are new its kind of nice to go to your email, click a link and be brought back right to your question. Once you get used to it and know where to look for stuff, simply go to settings and change it. That's all.
