Almost Disaster to Amazingly Awesome!!

So, yesterday morning my TJ started to make a weird and loud knocking sound in the engine. I check the oil and everything was good there. So i assumed that it was either a loose lifter or rocker arm. I took it into the mechanic today and found out it was much worse than that. I guess a piston coil was about to bust and the engine had to be replaced. I was pretty bummed out. We called the dealer i got it from cause i was still under a 3000 mile warranty. We worked it out and they are going to put in a brand new 4.0L in my jeep along with a life time warranty.

Sweet deal to get that from a dealership.. I'm surprised they didn't try to find a way to weasle out of it.

I have an 01 TJ and an 03 and 04 600rr

Good deal on the new 4.0, usually doesn't work out that way.

yeah i love my RR, but we might be parting ways this summer. I might be selling her to pick up a Seadoo XP limited and a supermoto, but its going to be a very hard decision. Yeah the deal with the new engine was great. It was nice to see a dealer that cared about their customers. i will definitely deal with them in the future.
