Almost had her talked into a JKU.... sigh

Well... almost....

It was time to upgrade the wife's ride. We set out for a Jeep and test-drove the JKU's and were very impressed with both stick and auto.

I know... I don't want to hear it.... lol!

She didn't really 'want' another Jeep for her.... so......

We decided to get a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek Limited.... So we took delivery yesterday.... perfect day ( Valentine's Day ). Satin Pearl White with Tan leather....

Yeah... I couldn't agree more. We love it! We got all the bells and whistles, too. Still cheaper than the JKU.. and can't beat 33mpg with the CVT. LOL!

When I was in the market for a vehicle, I was looking for either a Wrangler or a Subaru Outback. Both work great here in Colorado and Subaru is just a great company that builds great cars. You mainly see either Sub's or Jeeps here in CO....lol Great choice though!!

So close, yet so far... At least she chose an excellent Jeep alternative. If there is such a thing. Congrats on the new ride!

LOL... yeah... I wanted her to have something with AWD/4WD for the winters here and with pretty good mpg's.

Having two Wranglers would have been H3LL on my finances ( read not just one Jeep to upgrade constantly)

Subi will a good fit for you, family friendly and safe. I'm just wondering when we'll start seeing yellow highlights on it...

Those wheels look a lot like the new Rubicon wheels. Or, at least similar. I've seen both in person. So it's almost the same vehicle...
I'm not a "car" guy, (my wife is though. Well, not a guy, but she likes her cars) and I'm a pretty brand loyal GM guy (it still isn't easy looking at the Pentastar on the TJ's rearview mirror every day), but I would let my wife drive a Subaru.. They are good cars...
