Aluminum Metalcloak fenders = nice

I finished swapping out my steel MC arched fenders for a new set of aluminum this weekend, so I figured I would share. Taking them out of the box, you can immediately tell a HUGE difference in weight. I think it is about 20 lbs per side. As with all Metalcloak products I have purchased, the fit and finish was spot on.

The installation was very easy and within an hour I had the job complete. If you are looking for a complete lightweight fender replacement, this is the product for you. If you like using the fenders to push off obstacles, less concerned about weight, or working on a tighter budget, stick with the steel fenders. Either way, you can't go wrong.

They are like 600 bucks I think? Then those flares are around 200 dollars extra I think not 100% sure. What size are the flares??

You have Savvy rear corners though right? I am wondering if MC is going to make an extended rear corner in Aluminum right now they only have full. I like the Aluminum fronts and may find myself switching to those at some point as well. Solid looking Jeep!

Very cool & very cool looking! For sure aluminum is the way to go on such upgrades, it sure cuts the weight.

Looks great!

Curious why you went with the Savvy alum rear corners instead of Metalcloak alum rears?

Not that your Savvy corners don't look great. Just curious.

Savvy aluminum corders were $300 less and I already had the MC rear fender mounting plates, which makes up some of the difference in cost.
