Am I just very lucky?

Ok so I was looking under my jeep yesterday and noticed a bracket on the rear that nothing was bolted to so I investigated it more and came to the conclusion that I HAVE NO REAR TRACK BAR!!! I have been driving it for over a year now, so have I just been very lucky or is it not as important as the front?

Well, it's fair to say that the front track bar is much, much more important....aside from laterally constraining and locating the axle, it also provides all of the leverage necessary to turn the tires. Without it, you wouldn't be able to turn the tires, period. With that said, the rear control arms aren't triangulated enough to keep the axle firmly in position so those control arm bushings and mounts have been doing double duty and probably aren't happy about it. I'm not shocked but I'm very surprised you never realized how poorly the jeep drove.

I have noticed it didn't drive very good but this was my first jeep so I didn't know how it was supposed to drive when I got it and I just thought it was the lift getting worn out

Routine inspection and maintenance of your jeep should have caught this earlier. Glad you had no immediate problems but as others have said you need to address the parts that have been pulling double duty.
