Am I wrong?

Am I wrong to treat my 2006 LJ like it is something special? I really love the thing and can't find the heart to beat it up. It's only got 15,000 miles on it, and from what I can tell, never even been in mud. It gets over maintained with oil changes etc. Only place it goes is the beach and after gets a mega wash and back in the garage.........Heck the thing has"nt seen rain in almost 2 years.....Sorry just can't wreck the thing

To each his own. It's your jeep, do what ever you want in/to it.

There's nothing wrong with being a little protective of your new acquisition, especially when it probably cost a fair amount. Don't worry, you'll get bitten by the offroading bug and then all bets are off!! Let the modding begin!!! Just enjoy your Jeep any way you want.

Dont be afraid of going offroad, just because you hit the dirt road or the rocks, does not mean you have to beat it up. You will find plenty of jeeps that have enjoyed a fair share of offroad time, that still look very well maintained. But as previous posters said, to each is their own...enjoy it how you want to.
