Another 2" BB Pics!

Just put on a 2" BB this past weekend. The front went real smooth, but the rear took a little longer than expected.

The kit also came with a transfer case lowering kit. I've heard alot of people that do not use them and some who do. Any one else have a 2" lift and did you install the t-case lowering kit?

Another tech question?? If you drop the t-case, would it not in return change the angle of the engine?

To me everything from the t-case to the tranny to the engine is bolted solid so if you drop the t-case that would in turn put stress on the tranny and the motor mounts.

Am i looking at this the wrong way or is this normal?

I also put on 2" spacers over the weekend. I had slight vibrations while accelerating in 2nd and 3rd gear only. I dropped the skid only about 1/2 inch and that took care of that. I also put on 31" tires too.

If you dont feel any vibrations, you don't need to drop the transfer case.

Yes, dropping the transfer case does change the angle of the engine and transmission also.

Both Rammer500 & Jeepn13's Jeeps look really good. If you put some black rims or even powder coated the stock ones, that would make it look mean! Keep up the good work guys!

If it runs fine with it then stick with it. I notice a small vibration in the lower gears if I really get into it, but just normal driving it feels fine.

I'm still in debate over if the t-case drop is putting added tension anywhere else. I guess since it's used quite often that the research has been done and no problems have occured, but still skeptical.
