Another Gearing ?

I have a 01 jeep with an auto tranny, and I have 33's on it. My local Jeep Shop tells me that 4.56's would be my best bet if i were to put new gears in it, is this correct? This is my daily driver, but i like to hit the trails ever so often.
Thank's for any help!

Yeah, a 6 cyl with auto and 4.56's would put you at a nice mix between off road ability and highway RPM's. If you ever planned on going to 35's or 37's I would just do 4.88's and be done with it.

Probably around 3200 to 3300 with your 3 speed auto. It does have a lock up converter, so that will drop it maybe 50 or so.
