Another hardtop question :(

Okay, installed my hardtop yesterday and put a new back window. Everything is fine but what do I need to have the window from moving? I have the hinges at the top but what's at the bottom? 4Wheelparts told me a tailgate weather seal to stop the window from opening. Everytime I hit a bump the back window rattles. Any solutions?

Close the window before you close the tailgate. The tailgate holds it in place....

Yep there should be a seal across the length of it on the bottom.

No Seal

Seal

There is a hard plastic trim across the bottom of the glass but it also needs a rubber weatherstrip.

Dealer part number for the strip is 55175042

When I close the tailgate I can see daylight. So I ordered that weather seal from 4wheelparts, is this what I need?

I have a weather strip on mine, i know this because every time i lift or close the window it hits my spare tire if the tailgate is not opened enough, causing the weather strip to become damaged in the corner.

Post a picture of the bottom of your back glass so I can see for sure.
Does yours have the black plastic across it? or not?

Is there a picture of the strip on ebay? Post the link so we can see it and help ya out.

Nevermind I found the listing, looks like you need the seal as well. He says in the description

"I now also have the bottom gasket/molding to complete this. The cost is $14. Please let me know if you would like to add that to your order"
