Yea mines a 2.5, 2.4 and 2.5's are pretty good motors, just remember to NEVER put a Fram oil filter on your Jeep, unless you have a spare $1675 laying around.

So i went down into that area in the pits joe and !creamed! one of those stumps down there and bent my Tie Rod into my diff cover... it settled back about an inch from the diff cover after i backed away. So i now need a new tie rod, or should i bend it back???

but i kicked that areas ass, including your hole

I think I'd have to go ahead and replace that one.

I wish you guys were down here to try where I got stuck at before it dries up

The first time when I went around the hold I nailed a stump with my tire and it flung me sideways, prob the same stump. I can get through that mud hole if I hit it with speed but I inched through it slowly cause I didn't know how deep it was. And the first time I barreled through it about a month ago I made it but hosed my shitty intake so I didn't want to do that again, and screw you with your 33's asshole....

LOL.

adkjoe do you have open differentials or LSD's
I have open differentials, I found out when I was stuck, as that was the first time I was able to look at the wheels turning when they weren't stuck to hard ground. If you have opend like I do then you might want to always keep two wheels on one end or the other on some form of solid surface LOL

I hope he doesn't I'm just collection info for my own Jeep he has a 2.4 I have a 2.5, ok for power me and him are about matched, if he has LSD's and still got stuck I will have the answer I was looking for on another forum where I got flamed and called stupid for even asking.
I know mud cancels everything, but if he has opens, then i still have research to do if he has LSD, then my research is complete.
I dont want to spend teh money for LSD's if they won't do any good in mud as I don't need them anywhere else, and I have Dana 35 in the rear, so a locker is out of the question there.

But either way I know he had a hellofa good time getting stuck, I know I did

You kicked his hole? Thats just plain dirty pool there...

I've been in there once. My neighbors family owns that land. I had to leave because the place was crawling with dirt bikes. When the same 12 y.o. nearly hit me the 3rd time I decided I'd had enough.

Nope I have open diff's. Like mudslinger says you can make it if you hammer it, just didn't know how deep it was since it had been raining.

Haha thx mudslinger I did snap for a second about the 2 wheels on solid ground comment but then I read his follow up post so I cooled down It's all good I don't have to punk anyone now

Yep I think I'd have hammered it in that hole too, the place I got stuck was in a turn I went back yesterday and took few cell phone pics, I'll link em later today.

Ok this is the area I got stuck at Also when I found out that the Jeep is the first vehicle I have ever had with open differentials

Was ok here, you could drive a limo through this part.

a little squishy

Should have known better than to keep going after this

this is why i got stuck, lost ALL traction in the turn

The bad place, this entire area is nothing but quicksand, steeping in it is as bad as driving through it, there is NO traction whatsoever.

The tracks on the right are from my Blazer on the first afternoon, the ones on the left are from the Blazer's second attempt the next day.
I took these pictures about a week after I got stuck, and it was 10 times water and worse when I went though it.
Yea I got stuck deep, all the way to the bottom of the Jeep, yea it sucked, yea I almost got the Blazer stuck too.
Would I ever do it again? ................................Yea
