Another Question...

Alright. I know my questions are pretty basic as far as some of y'all's knowledge goes. I'm getting a 2 inch lift for my '98 Wrangler. Rustys Offroad: TJ Wrangler 2" Basic Kit
My brother (he knows what he's doing) and I are going to install the lift. He thinker I need new control arms (?), but he doesn't know too much about Jeeps (he says). We're both just interested in what else is recommended to keep my Jeep in good shape in addition to the springs and shocks that the kit has in it. As always, all help is appreciated.

Its going to sit lower in the back if you don't remove that deer from your spare tire.

Just getting to work is an adventure.

not too important but swaybar endlinks.. when i did my initial 2'' lift i added front adjustable jks disconnects and rear adjustable endlinks..

take it to a professional to get it realigned when your done..

you wont need control arms.. oh and i know the rustys springs are similar to the procomp ones i used.. the rear sat about 2'' higher for some reason.. right now i run stock rear springs and my 2'' procomp ones in the front for a more balanced look.. (i have adjustable coilspacers as well tho)

you shouldnt need an adjustable trackbar as of yet (only reason i added one is bc my front is lifted about 2.5-3'' and i just wanted to beef up my trackbar with a jks one)
99 sahara :: 2'' coils (front), jks acos f&r, jks front trackbar, jks bl/mml, RE monotube shocks, hp30/d44, 33'' procomp mts, 15x8 eagle alloy 187s, hella optilux fogs, raingler nets, & more random junk::

06 charger r/t :: 5.7l hemi w/ flipstick, tinted windows, leather heated seats, 2 kenwood 12s =D my new baby ::

You wont need new control arms because of that little lift. However if you plan on hitting them off rocks you may want new control arms. They aren't all that strong once you start banging them off of rocks.

I am too getting this lift proabably somtime in the next month of two and have the same question. Do you need longer bump stops in the front? What about the back? Do you recommend getting shock boots or not? I know the kit doesn't have them. Are the rear swaybar endlinks required too for this amount of lift or is it just helpful? Thanks and I hope these questions help Rangluh too.
