Another speedo question

So i just regeared my 03 wrangler x ordered a speedo with 36 teeth took my speedo out and when i went to put the new one in it was as if they crimped it to much so i called 4wd and they said maybe i had a different transfercase so question is is there different transfer cases for the wranglers as options i know rubbys are different
My speedo looks exactly the same as the one i order except it looks to be crimped to much so i cant slide it on the shaft and it messed up my sensor trying to force it on all well just another 30 bucks

Drive a small drift punch into it to stretch it a bit, but not too much
