Any ideas on ways to hold/fasten doors open when facing uphill?

I was just looking for any ideas on a creative mod to hold the door ajar, preferably a permanent device. I'm sure I can come up with something, but wanted to see if anyone had any working ideas in place.
Thanks!!

The few times I have needed to do this, I just used a bungee cord. It may not be "pretty" or permanent, but it worked great.

Whenever I have a choice & know I want my doors ro stay open, I simpy back up the hill. I was at the car wash, went to vacuum out the jeep. It was on a slope & the doors wouldn't stay open, I had to turn the jeep around.
I think the bungee chord idea it great. Anything you wedge in near your hinges is going to stress them.
My doors are off 6 mos out of the year, so not a big deal.

If you're in the Jeep, use your foot. Outside the Jeep, pull the door off. Done and done.

Permanent solution...

Just an option, I have no first hand experience with these.

I think I could've figured that one out. Not the options I was looking for.

I just put the Armadillo door stops in my lj a couple a weeks ago..so far work great, and easy to install, and they realease very quick for door removal...a little pricey for what they are but they work.

Do you have to manually engage and disengage the door stops?

Thanks!

Not sure what you mean 20GA, but no...when you want to take doors off it as simple as lifting the strap off...same motion...

Are you running your door hinge nuts? If so go get a thin washer with less diameter than the hinge OD and put it between the nut and hinge and tighten it down. It will make the door "drag" more. All you need is on one nut, both will be to much drag. Holds good except in strong wind. I've done it. Cheap easy mod to hold the door open!
