iv never installed my own offroad lights before, but i am going to try.

does anyone know a website or guide for a beginner like me can look at to help?

any information about installation would be great. i.e. how to power the lights and how to install a trigger switch or other ways to turn them on and off.

P.S. whats the difference between fog and driving lights?

Stu has some pretty good info on his site.

http://www.stu-offroad.com/electrica...5/lights-1.htm

Check out the whole electrical section, there is lots of good stuff there.

i specifically have a hardtop but also for softtop it will be nice to know.. From the lightbar kits out there all i see is that the kit connects to the bottom of the winshield and leads to the top by the metal bars.. http://4wd1.com/LIGHTBAR%20416.jpg

That's what wire loom and 3M33 tape are for.

drilling a hole in a hard top is not an option to me. It will leak. Only a matter of time. I don't think you need lights up there personally but if you do want them get the light bar. That's what they are designed for
