Any suggestions

Hey all,

Any suggestions on some small things that I can do to make the ol' TJ a little more capable off road. Street wise it does well and I would like to keep it that way....it is my DD. I would like to be able to hit a trail and go and not worry much. I would like to increase recovery options and a winch in the future.....let me know what you think.

thanks
Danny

Quick disconnects would be a must. It looks like you get a bit of rubbing on your front flair, so I'd also suggest a 2" puck lift. Do yourself a favor, and get a steering box skid plate. That thing will get trashed on the trails if you have no or little lift.

I'm guessing those Rocky Mts are 32's or 33's? If so, disco's won't do you much good. Under armor and a winch sounds like a good start.

The rocky's are only 31's....never considered a steering skid plate. I would like a 1 maybe 2" puck lift to even out the front

Most people call the puck lift a BB, budget boost. 2" is the most common size and you can run the same shocks etc. Discos will make a ton of difference too.

Is the BB a body lift...I would like to avoid the body lift. What brand of bumpers would you recommend? I have looked at the Smittybuilt bumpers with rear hitch and front D-rings

Thanks

The BB are spacers that sit ontop of your stock coils. The ride will remain pretty close to stock.
