Any tips?

Any tips or advice on installing lights up on the windshield? Just bought a kit and about to install it!

Make sure there are no women and children around, because those torx screws are going to make you cuss.

Time to drill them out and get something to replace them from the hardware store.

HEAT! I bought a $25 butane torch from home Depot. That and make sure you're using the right torx bit. I think it's a 40,but won't swear to that. It seems to big because of the paint on the bolts.

Heat the bolts for 5 minutes with the torch, get the bit in there and they should come out. They have loctite on them, the heat breaks it down.

Return the kit and install on bumper?

Drill em out. I tried getting one of those $*&@(@A out once and decided it wasn't worth the effort of whatever I was trying to do.

Heat helps, but isn't guaranteed.

I folded my windshield enough to run the wires in between the gasket and in behind the dash.
