Question anybody actually like their milkjugs?

i like my front bumper without em, especially because the previous owner got into a little fender bender so its a little tweeked. but i dont like the way it looks in the rear. maybe ill like it better when i take off those stock tires.

I like them when they're not faded.

I like how they look sitting in my garage. I left the back ones on too. The bumper looks incomplete with out them. I even painted them black when I painted my fender flares.

There was someone on here who turned his milk jugs into storage. I forget who it was but he did a nice write up on it on here.

As for me, I took them off, then got a new front bumper. I took them off in the rear and have liked it.

I left mine on in the rear - they protect the corners a little when you slide into a rock.
So far I've crushed 2 of them, 3rd one is slightly crushed now.
Kinda like having a pillow back there.

You know how all classic vehicles are worth the most when they're in "all original condition"? Down to the last factory detail?. Well, in 30 years those front milk jugs are going to be worth a ton to restorers of old TJ's. Mine are staying on. I also think nothing looks better on a TJ than Grizzly rims

I think I'll keep mine on the top shelf in the garage for thirty years. They look better up there anyway. ; )

both front and back came off and looks much better (first mod i did to her) i really dont think they will be worth anything 30 yrs from now. i dont see a big hike in plastic price coming over the next few years....

Could you post a link to where you purchased the flat end caps. I don't seem to be having any luck finding them.

Thanks,

I'm not positive, but I MAY have a full set from mine up in the shop.
I'll have a look and get back to you. Shoot me a PM to remind me to look, I have a busy day today.
If i DO have them, we can figure out what the postage would be and you could PayPal it to me.

Removing the jugs is a really common thing to do.
I personally didn't like them and when I had my stock front bumper on I even chopped it short.

I bought my TJ two Friday's back. The next day I took it out on some ice-covered trails. 4-inch thick ice did me a favor and broke one of the front milk jugs half off. I pulled it off and realized how much better it looked, and proceed to kick the other off.
