i'm looking for some cheap tires for the jeep and i asked a friend who works at gattos. he came back with hercules trail diggers. set of 4 31x10.50r15 everything(price for tire, stem value and install) for $640. just wondering if anybody had these and how they run before i spend the money and get them or should i spend a little more and get something better...... thanks
Never run those, but i ran some by the same company on my 76 nova, they were a damn good tire for the price....

"The Jeep is a manly device. And a womanly device. An American device. It’s a fitting instrument to transport the free people of a free nation with the respect to which we are entitled and the dignity that we deserve. Okay, we’re a little crazy to have a Jeep for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius"-P.J.O'rourke

WITH KEDGE GRIP
Kedge Grip:Our own unique blend of crushed (recycled) glass and crushed walnut shell particle blended into our full grade truck rubber.* Kedge Grip acts in a twofold way; first the walnut shell is designed to come out leaving small (approximately 1 mm) size pits in the tread surface that will act as additional siping and create more traction edges to grip the road.* The second is the crushed glass which is designed to stay in longer and create a gritty surface to help anchor you to the road.* Does it really work?* Don’t take our word for it, read some of the testimonials.* Also, check out the 4Wheeler magazine (though under a different name that we are not allowed to use any longer due to trademark issues) in the August 2009 issue.* They consistently had excellent results with our Kedge Grip.

Just bought some Hercules trail digger 33 12.50 15 on Monday! Already love them! Especially for the price. My friend runs them and he loves them. I was reading jp magazine and they have some good reviews as well on these tires.
