anyone done a dana 300 swap into there tj

i have a dana 300 that i want to swap into my tj sport. i found the kit from down east offroad and also a build it yourself kit. i just wanted to talk to some one who has done this and what issues they had.

Im about to do the Down East kit in my YJ for the D300 i just picked up. and yes, a D300 is a pass side drop but that's what the flip kit from D.E. does... it flips it to the drivers side. Supposed to be a nice kit, done right.

I'll let ya know how it goes

I thought I read (or heard) of a kit that makes the d300 a drivers side drop

no. Read above. From the factory the Dana 300 is a passenger side drop. Easily flipped, twin sticked, and cable shifted.

Or you can do what I did and install a passenger drop axle.

thats great how did it go, how does it do on the trails, what flip kit did you go with. any clearence problems
