Anyone ever paint a hi-lift?

Thinking about painting mine... Anyone ever done it? If so please share your experience

In the process of painting my shocks, and figured maybe I could keep the color scheme going! haha

i've never done it, but i am considering doing it. here is an awesome how to write up on it.

I painted a big part of mine black because I wasn't crazy about all of the red that was on it.
I scuffed it, cleaned it and shot it. I didn't go to a lot of trouble because I figured it would get marked up when it got used.
It looks ok as long as you don't use it LOL but once it runs up and down a couple of times the black rubs off and the red shows through. It's an easy touch up though.

You can kind of see it in this picture, though that's not what the picture was intended for

Awesome looking Jeep! What rear bumper is that?

And I figured that when I use it the paint will chip, but I can handle a couple shots of spray paint here and there!
