Anyone have experience with Superlift?

I have been eyeballing lifts lately (don't we all..?). The only thing I can really afford, and will be able to afford for a long time, seems to be the superide 4" from Superlift, the R.E 3.5 standard with the twin tube shocks from 4x4groupbuy, or the full traction 3" with hydro shocks from 4x4groupbuy.

I would go with the R.E, but I think my Rubi is too stiff as it is, I prefer a softer ride in my trucks, and I have heard that the twin tubes are extremely stiff. The FT is always an option, but I would prefer to go to a 4" if I can. Hence the superlift. Anyone have any experiences with it?

Yes, the RE Twin Tube shocks are stiff... ask me. As long as your not driving down bumpy roads, it does ride rather smooth though.

Thinking about what I have done to my rig and how much I've spent, I probably would have gone at it a bit differently. If your looking for a budget 4", go with the FT kit and a 1" body lift... I priced it together for another guy on here and everything came out to less than $900.

Which is what I would have done in the first place if I knew any better.
Don't get me wrong, I love my lift and everything I've done to it... but for the money I spent and as little wheeling that I've done, I wish I would have went another route.

Here we go again.

Do you have first hand experience with it? Nope, because you ordered it from the wrong place.

It was a suggestion, not a recommendation.

Any spring is gonna sag, even RE springs, it just depends on how much crap you have on your rig as to how fast. A winch is a LOT of weight.

Jeep = money pit.

The advantage of the RE kit you specified is that it is completely upgradable. So if you were not pleased with the standard kit, you have the option of upgrading to the SF kit.

That being said/stated, I would opt for the FT lift, do a couple of test runs, articulate and if need be, add a 1" MML and BL.

Jeep hard, Jeep safe!

The only experience I've had with Superlift is an adjustable front track bar for the front. If the bushings in the control arms suck as bad as they do in their track bars I would stay far away.

That being said, of the three you listed I would go FT. However, that is based purely on what I've researched online when comparing RE and FT LA kits. No one really ever had anything bad to say about the FT products, just the customer service from FT.

Yes i talked to qtec.. they might have not been helpful but at least they were nice. After the long wait of my lift Qtec gave me the direct phone number for FT so i can talk to them.

I am the second owner of my superlift 4" springs and my jeep is still riding tall. I have a winch and bumpers etc. I pieced my lift together with all used parts and came out very well I believe. It rides pretty smooth with Black Diamond shocks.
