Anyone install this on their TJ? : Z40078 Northern Factory Electric Fan Sensor

I bought my 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L used and it already had an electric fan conversion with an all aluminum northern radiator and fan. The driver side radiator mount flange had completely seperated from the radiator. I opted to simply buy a new one instead of bothering to take the old one and have it welded. I didn't want to stick a probe for the controller into the fins on my new radiator and had seen on some other posts that persons were using a sensor in the thermostat housing from painless wiring. Painless wiring has videos instructing one to install the sensor into the engine block. I have been unable to find a salvage jeep in the Las Vegas Valley to simply convert back to mechanical and this seems simple enough. I found and purchased this item at northern and was wondering if anyone has had experience with it in regards to their electric fan conversion. Please provide input.

If the above does not work, it is Northern Factory part # Z40078.
