Anyone know anything about tire/rim sizes?

I have to order a matching spare I know what brand and model it is, I just need to figure out what size to get it to match the others.

The rim is a Cragar soft 8 397 series. The tires that are on them say LT245/57R16. How can I tell how much backspacing the rim has?

These are the sizes these wheels come in.

Bolt Back
Pattern Size Spacing
1 5x4.5 15x10 4.0
2 5x4.5 15x7 4.0
3 5x4.5 15x8 4.0
4 5x4.5 16x7 4.0
5 5x4.5 16x8 5.00

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Measure your wheel's backspacing like this... from the backside of the wheel. The yellow tape measure is measuring the wheel's amount of backspacing between the rear-most edge of the wheel to its mounting surface.

Of the two dimension of backspacing you list, odds are it is 4.0"

That and you can cross off
1 5x4.5 15x10 4.0
2 5x4.5 15x7 4.0
3 5x4.5 15x8 4.0

Seeing as you have a 16 inch rim per the tire size you listed. LT245/57R16

Currently I have stock 17x7.5 rims and supposedly they have 6.25 backspacing and 44.45 mm offset. I upgraded tires to 285/70/17 tires. I put 1.5 inch wheel spacers on there too. My question is I want the tires to stick out another 1 to 2 inches. They dont stick out even with the spacers. Is that because of the 6.25 backspacing? Do I need to get 17x8 or 17x9 rims and less offset? If so what would be appropriate? I am so confused.
