Anyone put a JBA catback system on there Jeep?

I was looking into installing the JBA exhaust system to my 2.5l TJ, has anyone installed one? sound clips? Performance?

Also, anyone try anything other brands?

Thanks in advance.

I can get deals through JBA, I have there headers on my mustang. I'm just not sure on how a exhaust system will sound on a 4 banger.

I just installed the Banks Monster Cat Back

I do not have any info on the JBA however; I did a ton of research on this subject and ended up going with the Banks Monster Exhaust Cat Back. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, so I really cannot comment on Performance or MPG improvements, but the sound..... Oh she sounds good.. Most guys keep their stock exhaust and just replace the muffler, but I went ahead and replaced the whole cat-back.. The pipe goes from a 2" to a 2.5" all the way to the chrome tip..
I have the 4.0L, so I have no idea what it will sound like on a 2.5L, but I am sure you could search Youtube.com and find some sound bytes.

i run the banks monster cat-back on my 4 cylinder tj and it has a great sound, as for mpg's i gained 2 or 3. performance did increase 2 or 3 horse power and 2nd and 3rd gear have some more balls to them along with some throttle response.

I had a BANKS on my 4.0 and it Cracked
A friend of mine runs a Off Road shop here in town and almost everyone that has bought a banks brings them back cracked,
if you have the receipt they will give you another one but hey who wants to put on a new header every year ....some sorta design flaw on the Jeeps from what I was told been going on for sometime Banks just wont fix the problem

So I Bought a JBA ...........so far so good ....plus there shop is just across town from where I live, so if I have any Issues I'll just drive over

i hear the stock header is the best way to go because if its design it will not crack like aftermarket headers.. i believe the stock have like a flexible part to it

DUCKIT, I think he is talking about the Cat Back.. I was told by several people that the Banks cat-back system has the best performance gains out of them all. You are right about the headers though.. I was actually going to put the Banks Torque Tube Header on along with the Monster Exhaust cat-back, but decided just to keep the stock manifold and go with the cat back Besides, the stock mani is designed like a header anyway.. THEY JUST SUCK!

I'd like a little more power and better sound but I don't want my Jeep to sound like a ricer with a fart can on it!

That why I asked... I wanted to know if a 2.5l would sound rice with a catback system.

only if jeep knew how to design headers we wouldnt need this flexible crap lol. Perhaps if some one designed long tubes headers like they do for yjs, it would be a great buy.
