Anyone used this hardtop hoist?

Just bought this hoist and waiting for it to be shipped. I like the simplicity and price. Just curious if anyone has used this before. Let me know what ya think! I ordered the manual version.

I am really wanting to build my own. I think I will start working on something soon. I just cant see spending over 100 bucks on something that I could make myself.

Got it installed last weekend. Works great after finding the balancing point to lift it even. I ended up putting the long straps through the back instead of the front as the directions show. Otherwise after tightening the straps before lifting it the buckles would hit against the rear glass. Also ended up cutting a piece of 1/2" pvc with a slit in it to keep the straps from rolling to the center in the rear. The pvc just keeps it balanced side to side so it dosent lift uneven. Hope this helps. I can take some pics and post them if you want, just let me know. Overall for the price and function its a great deal.
