are you still using the back seat ? When it is folded, it works to hook to your cage in a vertical manner above the seat depending on your bow length. I shoot an MQ32, so it is short and fits well. BUT........trying to fit even a whitetail into the jeep means you get to quarter it out first.

Yeah, Im still using the back seat.. I was thinking about using some gun mounts attached to sq. tubing hooked to roll bar ,able to accomodate 2 bows... I shoot the switchback, also small but need more room!!!!!Down here we hunt coues whitetail there about as small as a greyhoud dog.. They will fit in the pocket behind the drivers seat!!! No quartering needed!!!HAHA

yeah, an elk would take some stacking. Another thing I have thought about with me bow right behind my head is where the broad heads are going to wind up on a hard roll. Just a thought. I took my seat out last year and have a large cargo box, so my bow is in it now. But an ultra-mag with a 26" barrel doesn't fit real well either. Where we hunt the bogs are deep and long and kelly humps VERY steep, drag my belly pan and fuel tank skid crossing them, otherwise I would just take the truck.

Saw one TJ guy bungie his bow to his spare tire. My BowTech simple rides shotgun in the passenger seat.

I carry my bow on these ATV rifle brackets, they work fine. I remove the whole rack after hunting season. Maybe this will inspire you to build/buy something. Good luck, good hunting. Laters,

This is a Bestop HighRock 4x4 Cargo Rack, I order it through my local 4wheel parts shop. The ATV brackets, I received as a gift, they are your universal ATV rack rifle brackets. This setup has worked well with me, It gives me a new level were to put my gear while hunting and it also holds my bow/rifle. Laters,
