I haven't done it, but based on what I have read you will have to use premium fuel. If you have a D35 it might not be up to the extra HP. Same goes for the 42rle if you have one of those. I don't think the price shown for those includes all the things that go on the motor that should be replaced if they haven't been done already, such as oil pump, fuel delivery, etc.

So i dropped in the stroker, a new ax-15 and np231 w/SYE. As of now im running on the stock D30 and D35 with 3.07's. I only have a 2inch lift in now running 32's, for now( 4 inch long arm and 35's going on soonish) So right now I've put on about 2000miles on the engine, not including the break in. On road performance is just what the jeep needed, extra power for going up hills, less downshifting, its kinda quick for a jeep. Now this is all with stock gearing and 32's, with a regear im sure it will make all the difference. It is less power than i expected, but im not going to judge the engine being at large disadvantage. I cant really say as far as off road goes, havent really been, i will get back to you with an answer on that. Also it is pretty costly, now when I did it put in all brand new parts on the engine. Just about everything is new and I put on brand name higher dollar stuff( MSD ignition, Gibson Header, Magnaflow high flow cat, flowmaster 40 muffler, bbk throttle body, etc) you get the point. You can absolutely do this much cheaper than me but plan on doing full exhaust and a bigger throttle body. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions
