I'm thinking about getting this cage. do any of you have any experience with it or know any one that does?
anything bad about it? any other cage recommendations?

thanks,
-Matt

I like that cage a lot. I cant give any personal experience or anything but I would say going with almost anything from AtoZ is a pretty safe bet. They make good stuff and Im sure their cage is no different. Asside from if you decided to build one yourself Id say I like that one better than most Ive seen for sale. I dont know if you have racing seats but if you do, and you decide to go with this cage, you should have them weld a bar in rigth behind them toward the top. That gives you something to anchor your harnesses to if you have/ever decide to get them.

I run the AtoZ cage. Good cage that goes through the dash for a more "sound" cage and you can't beat his customer service.

Check out Gen-Rights stuff they make a good product. I will shortly be helping Joe at Absolute Offroad to install one in his TJ.

On part that I think could be iffy on that cage is the hoop that the two spreader bars attach to the B pillar. From what I know about tube strength and stuff connecting from the front spreader to the roll bar and then back out to the rear spreader would be a stronger setup.

The front section of the cage was done by Zach (AtoZ) as a custom order and I had to notch everything myself. I got the DOM for the rear locally and Zach bent the rear spreader connecting the C-pillars.

Yeah Tweb I like your setup much better from Zach. The triangulation and the lines make it much stronger IMO.
