You won't feel the presence of a front mounted automatic locker in a TJ when it's in 2wd. While an automatic locker's normal state is to be locked, it only locks up hard after you shift into 4x4. In 2wd it unlocks for turns so easily you won't feel anything different. It will click during turns in 2wd but that's it. And the TJ has no need for an axle disconnect system like the YJ had.
