aussie vs spartan

looking to get a locker soon, trying to do it on a budget so im thinking either a aussie or a spartan. which would yall recommend.

For the most part they are the same thing.. I think the spartan has a 32" tall tire max, I don't think the aussie has that.. other wise which every you can get the better deal on.

You're partially right about the Spartan 32" tire thing, but the way I read it, they are fine for a Jeep with bigger tires. Maybe not for 37's, but I'm sure it'd be fine with 33's. The website says, "Spartan Lockers are recommended to lighter vehicles or vehicles with tires shorter than 32"."

I'm pretty sure a Jeep is a lighter vehicle, when compared to other 4x4's.

I'm also considering a lunchbox locker for the front, and I'm on the fence between Spartan and Aussie. It sounds like the Spartan is a little easier to install. In the end, it'll probably come down to whichever one I can find a better deal on.

Just ordered a Aussie for my D30. I'm ready for the change. I think mine was like $285 shipped.
