Aux lights bolted directly to bumper

I am a notorious cheap a$$ and want to install some driving lights on my front bumper without buying a light bar. I haven't really seen any pictures of someone drilling holes in the front bumper and installing the lights there.

Is that something that can be done or do I really need to pony up and spend the $50 on a small light bar? Any pictures?

thanks,

tomslusher

Get the lights you like, mark the bumper and drill away. It is your bumper after all. I have a good picture but can't get it moved to post it here. I have KC day lighters wired to come on with the high beams. They came with a relay, a lighted switch and instructions. They sure light up the deer, elk and cows on the road at night.

Sure. I did it on my last jeep, and my current jeep.

I just put them in the stock holes, but needed some drilling to actually get the bolts in.

As I recall there were already holes on my stock bumper, I just put the lights in and wired them up.
