Axle swap

So I want to regear my 06 TJ to 4.27 but they don't make that ratio for a D30, so would you go recommend swapping my D30 for a D44 to be able to run 4.27 or should I just run 4.10? I know I can just go 4.56 but I only wheel occasionally and its my DD. I am not really sure if I will want 35's. I am currently running 3.73. Any advice recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

What size tires, 33's i presume. Why not just stick with 4.56. Its the recommended ratio for a 5speed.

I wouldn't spend money to go from 3:73 to 4:10. What transmission? If auto then 4:88. If manual 4:56 or 4:88 if you think you will run 35" tires. (you say you are not sure, but if you are even thinking about it you will )

6 speed manual transmission

All of the advise I have gotten from here says 4.56 with the six speed (same as I have).
You will need a new carrier for the D35, the current carrier only holds up to 4.10s.
Maybe look into an 8.8 ?
My eventual goal is 33s and a rear 8.8. Need to save some coin.
Right now I have 3.07, so I will need to regear before tires.

Didn't really want to go that route with swapping my rear D44.

You can pick up a cheep D30 from a 4 cylinder. They come with 4.10's and then just re-gear your D44 to 4.10's.

I have a D30. Wanted to run 4.27. I maybe out of luck and have to go with 4.56. Don't want it to ride bad on the highway.
