Baby got back....or just needs a new one...help

Im in need of a new Dana 44 rear axle (whole assembly) with a limited slip diff, or just a new limited slip diff. and install it in the current axle.

Does anyone know where to find good deals on the whole assembly or anyone have any suggestions on a new differential?

My current powertrax locker in my dana 44 is acting up. (severe clunking/jerking on the right hand turns)

is it ok to have a smaller gear ratio in the rear axle than the front (mixing ratios)? Only want to do the smaller in the rear because of gas mileage, im in 2WD most of the time?

different ratio is okay.. just don't put in 4wd.. though most dana 44 only came in 3.73 ratio.

this ratio was changed to 4:56 to match the aftermarket front axle.....anyone got an opinion on a limited slip rear end (Auburn gear) or a detroit trutrac locker? Im more of a road driver and have trutrac in the front if i need the pull. Anyone got anything on this?
