Bad tie rod end

Recently I've gotten bad steering shake and discovered it was a bad tie rod, but it's the one on the right side of the vehicle attaching the drag link to the steering knuckle, it didn't look like it could be replaced without replacing the drag link. Is it replaceable?

Maybe I am misunderstanding, I believe the answer to your question is no. The drag link connects from pitman arm on the steering box to the passenger side knuckle. The tie rod connects to the drag link and to the driver side knuckle. It sounds to me like you are describing the end of the drag link.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Yes, it's the drag link that attaches to to passenger side steering knuckle. But where it attaches to the knuckle, I'm not sure the exact name of it, it has the same job as a tie rod end, but it's attached to the drag link. How do I replace it? Do I have to replace the whole drag link?

I just changed this part on my Jeep. These Tie Rod Ends go bad over time. What you want to buy is a new Tie Rod End/Drag Link. $70 part at Pep Boys. Take good measurements before you start/complete your work. Don't forget the tape measure and most importantly - cotter pins.
Good luck,
