Barricade HD Rock Crawler versus Paramount Restyling HD Rock Crawler???

Looking at aftermarket front and rear bumpers. Are the Barricade and Paramount Restyling brands exactly the same? Are they both manufactured in China? Any reviews or advice on this topic?

Here are the parts I'm looking at:

Barricade Heavy Duty Rock Crawler Wrangler Front Bumper J20851 (87-06 Wrangler YJ & TJ) - Free Shipping

Thanks, Webby

I can't answer your question but I am thinking of going with the barricade set. Just because extreme terrain carries them and everything I have bought from them seems to be good.

Barricade bumpers barely ecer line up with the holes and require modification. I wouls suggest a body armour bumper for the front

It looks like the Paramount one has some lights in it where the Barricade doesn't. Other than that they seem to be similar in styling. Barricade sources their parts and materials from all over the world. There are a bunch of customer submitted reviews and pictures on the product page for the Barricade Trail Force HD Front Bumper so you can see what people are saying about it.

Let me know if you decide to go with that one and I'll get you a quote!

Edit: I just realized how old this thread is but I'm leaving my response for those who search!

I have the Barricade front and rear and love them. You cant go wrong with the price! You should also be able to get a small discount on them if you talk to or email them from this forum.

^^^ I have the rear bumper tire carrier. Well built and everything lined up well. I did have to buy longer bolts though. Will be buying the Trail Force front bumper soon.

5/32 thick steel. Great if you don't plan on hitting anything.

Barricade used 5/32" steel to keep the weight down. They did however add additional gussets to the back side of the bumper to keep the strength up. We've had some good reports from people that have used these on the trails and bounced off of some stuff without incident. You won't have a problem when hitting things with these bumpers!
