Hey guys, just got my tax return from good ol Uncle Sam and was thinking of putting in some BedRug carpet. Just wanted to get some opinions on it though, couldn't find too many other threads about it.
Wish it came in tan/spice. I do have Bedrug in the bed of my truck. It's very durable and dries quick. The foam backing would likely have very good sound deadening qualities when used in an interior application.
I've considered the Bedrug multiple times for my Jeep, just holding out for color option.
I was surprised how light it was, but it seems to be really durable and it fits and looks great. Makes the jeep look new again. It's held in with lots of Velcro so it can be taken out and cleaned quickly. And their customer service was excellent! I would highly recommend them. I bought mine off of Ebay. It seems everyone has the same list price, but these guys had a "make offer" listing and I saved about $50 that way.
I did the exact same thing as Shoe. Haven't installed it yet though as I am waiting for the rear section to arrive still. Cant wait. Stuff seems to be awesome. I will keep you updated.
One of my favorite things about my Jeep. Best part is, I didn't even have to do it! The guy I bought my Jeep from did it. Feels nice, looks good, doesn't get nasty as easy as regular carpet, and I'm willing to bet it does cut down on noise a bit
I have a tan/spice interior but went ahead with the Bedrug charcoal color since my carpet was pretty natty. Out with the old, in with the new in an afternoon, and I love it despite the change of color. I'm really looking forward to mucking it up during turkey season and being able to take it out and hose it off.
I'm going with there BedTread as I have 3 dogs and it so hard to get there hair out of carpet and fibers. Drives me crazy. I had bedrug in my S10 and held up great.
I have the Bed Rug kit now for a year. I love it. It reduces noise, reduces cold and heat from coming in to the cabin and looks and fits superbly. Excellent product. It can be removed without much difficulty as well. Tan interior, I got charcoal Bed Rug.
These are during the night with the cab lights on. Haven't vacuumed in months and this is how dirty it's gotten even after all the nasty snow, slush, salt. Try to post some daylight ones tomorrow
I'm just going to remove my carpeting and color code my bedliner to my exterior and then put in new "Jeep" monogrammed tan rug mats like the originals. I think it will look great. It will protect my floor bed during heavy rains, and make clean up super easy.
When I purchased my rubicon the interior was already rhino lined but whoever did it kinda did a sloppy job. Im torn between purchasing a set or just running the liner
The Bed Rug does not need the Velcro. I am bed lined with Line-X and I have the Bed Rug over it, no Velcro and it is just perfect.
The only place you will need Velcro is the tailgate piece. No, it will not stick to the bed liner. I adhered the Velcro strips to the bed liner for the tailgate with RTV.
