Beeping noise....what is it??? Please help

I've recently encountered a weird situation. It started a couple days ago, I was driving on the hwy, approx. 65 MPH, and I started hearing a beeping noise coming from my interior, from somewhere around the drivers side of the dash. it was a continuous off and on beep, sounding a lot like a back up warning on a truck. All my gauges were fine, i.e. oil pressure, water temp, voltage and fuel level were all normal. I turned the radio down to hear it better, and when it wouldn't stop, I decided to pull over and investigate. As soon as I turned on the right blinker to pull over, the beeping stopped. It happened one more time that day, and once again, the turn signal made it stop.

Flash forward to this morning, it happened again. 5 times within a 10 mile stretch. The first time, I used the turn signal trick and it stopped. The second time, I decided to pull over, without using the turn signal. Just before coming to a full stop, the beeping went away. I continued on, and the third time it happened just before my exit ramp. Once again, it went away just before coming to a full stop.

So to sum it up, the beeping seems to be random, although it has only started at highway speeds so far. It stops when either turn signal is switched on, and it stops just before bringing the vehicle to a stop.

I DON"T GET IT!! Has anyone else experienced this issue before? For a little background info, I have an '03 TJ, 4.0 I6, 4 spd auto. Only 29k miles. Everything is running great, no issues at all, other than this damn annoying beep! Please help!

ETA: I just checked all my lights, as well as physically checked all the fluids. Everything is normal. Still no clue as to what is causing this beeping.

Not sure, but my Jeep beeps like that when it overheated once... As soon as it cooled down, it stopped.

I MAY have figured it out. I started thinking about what I've done to the Jeep recently that may have caused this, and I realized that after cutting my fender flares into flatties, I installed some new turn signals under the lip of the front flares.

So I checked them out. The wiring connections were pretty weak. The ground wire was just wrapped around the spring of the light socket.

So I put them back together, turned the lights on and wiggled the wires where they go into the new signals. The lights flickered. That lead me to believe that they may be loosing ground intermittently, causing the computer to believe that my signals are on.

So I decided to solder the ground wire to the spring, to give it a more solid ground.

After that, I put them back together and tried the wiggle test again. No flickering. I guess I'll give it a day or two and see if the beeping comes back. I'll post again when I find out.

Could be the problem.
I vaguely remember my 03 Rubicon was equipped with a beeper which would come on if the turn signal was left on and driven for a mile or so.

A few weeks ago, I had the same issue when my front signal bulb blew.
