belt squeaks and chirps

I have a belt with only about 3,000 miles on it and a idler pulley less that 3,000 miles on it. everything ran fine and then i replaced the power steering pump 2 days ago and put a new pulley on it. ever since it squeaks when it starts from a cold start and chirps when i drive. I have done all the tension adjusting i can handle and it wont go away. Does anybody have any advice?

I had that problem once when i pulled my belt.
But it turned out to be a bad fan clutch. couldn't hurt to check. just wiggle your fan from front to rear. if it moves that could be your prob.

you might have just got a little power steering fluid, or grease on the pulley, or belt.

get the belt lube stuff that should if it is the belt squeaking go away. For some reason when you replace a power steering pump most vehicles make a whining sound from the new power steering. I do not know why tho.
