Beside the seat

Ya'll know that large empty space on the left of the drivers seat or right of the passenger? I tend to drop stuff down there and leave it. I started thinking about it and want to know what other people do with it. I would love to put some kind of container down there to store stuff in when doorless. Anyone done so? Any Ideas? I want something that sits right below the lever to slide the seat back and is flush with the sidewall.

Good place for a flashlight - in my TJs I had my fire extinguisher there, haven't seen if it'll fit with a JK though.

Could put a molle pouch there of some design... lots of options there.

I keep a bottle of oil, a bottle of steering fluid, a bottle of brake fluid, a rag, and my "I'm too darn short to reach it grabbers" in that space on the drivers side...the kids use that space on the passenger side to stow stuff they don't feel like carrying into the house.

I have a black bag (I think it was a travel shaving bag) that I carry my tools in. I thought that place was fairly inconspicuous since I don't lock my doors with the soft top. The bag was free and the tools aren't expensive so if they did disappear it wouldn't be a huge loss (unless I didn't notice until I needed them).

Fire extinguisher when going off-road. Small set of handtools any other time.

I keep my extra boxes of shotgun shells there since the Jeep is for getting me to and from hunting spots on bad roads.

I have ratchet straps, mirror for when doorless, rag, and an old jacket on the drivers side. I have more ratchet straps on the passenger side. It would be cool if there was a plastic case that fit in there perfectly.
