Best aftermarket Lighting

Hey All,

Looking at replacing headlights and OEM foglights on my 99 TJ. What is the genaral consensus on the best illumination w/o going into xenon territory. I drive a twenty mile stretch of ink black highway every night and need the brightest, most blinding lights I can get.

Thanks all.

Theres a piece on here somewhere that tells you how to take the metal "difuser" in you fogs out. By doing this it allows all the light from the bulb to shine=much brighter. I put in slightly higher watt bulbs too. They work great for dead blackness.

I hate the stock fog lights. All they do for me is put a line accross the road. If you want cheap and decent, Hella 500's. Moderate price and better light pattern, IPF 968's. If you want to spend even more but have a really nice light try to find the HID aux lights that are sold by Kragen/oriellys/advance auto. I'll have to try and find a link for ya... They are sold in 4" and 7" and both look amazing from what i've seen. That will be what I try next.

But back to the Hella's... Even Walmarts sell those so that'd be my first try if you just want quick and easy.

Part # for the 4" hids is 99004. If you google "kragen hid 99004" you'll find those. Good luck!
