Best Body Armor

I am looking for good body armor for the rear corners. Don't want the plastic stuff.

I would say MetalCloak or GenRight. Both really good and I've had experience with bot company's.

Another vote for Savvy. When you're looking at body armor look at how it fastens to the body. Not everyone does it the same way, and without the correct number of fasteners you'll see people complain about the body pulling away from the body armor. Savvy seems to have put thought into this, I can't vouch for the others.

I actually just bought some cheap rocker armor from Smittybilt. I know Smitty is hated by many but this was cheap ($200 for both sides delivered) and is like 1/4 inch thick plate steel. Seems to fit good and gives me a good anchor point to weld on some nice steps.

IMO the best body armor is to lift it high enough to avoid damage
