Best Mod and Worst Mod

Ok, I borrowed this idea from another site but it looks like fun.

Post up your best mod to your Jeep and the worst mod. Hopefully this might help someone before they venture into the black hole of aftermarket Jeep products.

My best : ORO U-Turn Steering System. Expensive as hell - but know that I've eliminated all the scaryness from my steering I feel like I can drive it over 20 mph without killing myself.

Worst mod : IPF 968 Lights. I think I've only turned them on once.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

Had a shop called "Koz Offroad" build it for me, kinda custom. I like the functionality of it, it has recessed reverse lights, carries a CO2 tank, my highlift, mounts the CB antennae... But kills my departure angle. I will be building a rear stinger similar (probably as close as I can bend) to the Poison Spyder rear stinger. It will be significantly lighter and higher than the one that I have now...

Best: Lift, tires, front Tru Trac and gears. Oh and alloy axles.
Worst: Rear detroit locker (too choppy on pavement) rather have an ox locker.

Worst: Westin nerf bars - they hung so low that it made a civic look like it had more clearance than I did. Only thing good about them was that it was easier for my wife and kids to get in the rig

Best: ripping off the above and replacing it with Shrockworks rocker guards.

Best: 2" lift and shocks (getting new tires soon) and Alpine sound system.
Worst: Installing new vinyl flooring kit by myself - can't wait till next summer to replace it.
I want a Wrangler Forum logo too!

I do, they are well made, extend all the way to the frame rails underneath, have drain holes that perfectly align with the ones on the tub and pretty easy to install.

I think I need to add another best mod, that would be my head light upgrade. With the days getting shorter and the nights longer I'm finally getting my Jeep out past sundown and I had forgotten how much better the replacements are than the factory lights. (My Jeep is not my DD).

Best Mod # 2: Head light upgrade!
