Best place to buy cb equipment???

So I'm getting ready to install a cb in the jeep and lo and behold Wally World ain't got nothin...anyone got any suggestions about where to go?? I don't really live close to any truck stops (figure they might be expensive) and there are no cb shops that I know of.

Buy on-line. Do research on what is best for your needs and google is your friend

I went too a truck stop since most brick & mortar stores don't carry them anymore. Radio Shack carries one style under their name, but it is a Uniden. It's a good unit. Truck stops from what i seen range from $35+. I picked up a Uniden unit for $55 & it's great. I wheel with like 4 other guys that have The same one

I just ordered an antenna, spring, and coax from here. Free shipping; prices seemed fair.

CB Radios & Antennas – Cobra CB Radio, Ham Radio Antennas, Police Scanners

I also ordered a new radio, but found it cheaper on ebay.

Rightchannelradios.com. Excellent people with a lot of knowledge for jeep. Quick shipping and they seem to really care about customer service and making sure you are happy. I wouldn't go anywhere else. IMHO.

The ebay store where I bought my Midland (just showed up) beat Amazon by over $10.
You're right though, quite often Amazon has the best deal.

I wasn't really thinking cost as much as the overall process & who you're buying from when comparing eBay & Amazon. I've made many purchases from both but have had fewer problems with Amazon.

I understand. In this case, I bought a Midland from an ebay seller with 2457994 feedbacks, and 99.7% positive, so I felt pretty confident. I ordered it the 19th and got it today. 2 day Fedex was $5.95.

I found that if you have any gas stations near you that are mainly for truckers.. Like big time gas stations.. then those are good places. Hit or miss. There's one by me that has a good deal on em. I'm going to get mine soon. My buddy already has one from there. I'll see if I can't get some pics up!

There's a Pilot Truck Stop in Birmingham, you can catch the exit for it off I65 exit# 264 or I20 exit# 123, they'll have the CBs there, prices range from $30 & up. There's 2 truck stops just across the stateline in Cornersville TN off of I65, exit# 22. There's a Pilot Truck stop on the left and The Tennesean Truck stop on the Right. (The food is very good at the Tennessean)
