After reading the posts I like it even more and the fact to bolts to the body as well as their heavy-duty hinge and internal mount brackets with 500 lb. lockable draw latches.

I will spend the money for this it will be well worth it in the long run.

Good decision, you will really like it.

Can I ask where you found such a great deal? The lowest I could find was just shy of 600, and I assume those are with out all the extras.

The best swing out tire carrier is the one you can afford and like, not what the "experts" tell you their opinion is. Everyone has their favorite, but the funny thing is, it's always the one they have. Nothing is perfect and a little tweaking will do wonders for even the "best" one out there. Personal preference is still alive and well as is the SEARCH FEATURE.

Idk if you were referring to me but I had decided on an OR Fab long before I read this thread. Its one of the few options I have since I have a rokmen drop down tailgate. Bestop requires the ome swing out. And I have a rear bumper that I'd rather keep. So that leaves OR fab or a stinger type carriers which defeats the purpose of having a drop down tailgate. I thought about buying the AEV carrier assembly so I can keep my current bumper but that is 800 not including the custom work to make it work.

No experience with it, but I have been thinking about the exogate by gr8top. Get to use any bumper you want, and it's swing away with your tail gate.

Does anyone know if OR-FAB is offering the Rotopax version for the TJ's? I only see the JK version on their website.

If they don't, it wouldn't be that hard to fab one up.

Does anyone know if someone sells just the body mount hinges? I would like to fab my own bumper but if there are pre-made body mount hinges I would start with those, depending on price and workmanship of course.

I agree front and rear bumpers, stinger on the front, with winch mount, tire carrier on the rear with receiver hitch no rattles or squeaks. Top quality.
