Best sye kit

Just done my 4 inch rc install and instalked tge transfer case drop kit. Iam getting crazy vibs that even my dash shakes. Confused becasue the drop kit should eliminate that. But iam looking for sye kit to solve this. I can order it in a month or 2. Hope my rear ds can hold up. Question is what do you guys recommend? Tom woods? Offcourse the sye kit shoukd eliminate all vibs? And should be much better than stock correct and more longlife? Also how come they need messurements? When we buy a ds at tge dealer he doesnt ask about sizes? Shouldnt they be standard?

I have the equivalent to a Teraflex in my Jeep. The guys at 4WheelDrive said most of the kits are made by them and re-branded. You may also need a new C/V Driveshaft so plan on that. It got rid of all the drive line vibration issues I was having. I have the 2" ProComp Lift with 33" BFG All Terrains on my Jeep.

I have been running around for about 8 years now with a 4 inch lift and a 1 inch t-case drop and have had no issues, till about a month ago. Started to get some vibes thru the jeep. Over about a week it started to get worse. Couldnt figure out what it was till one day leaving work i could start to hear the rear u-joint start to squeal. Pulled shaft out and i dont know how it hasnt come apart yet. U-joint was toast. I ended up ordering a JB Conversions sye, just got the standard not the super shorty. Couldnt resist, it was on sale for $169. Just waiting for my driveshaft to show up so i can bolt it in and go for a ride.

i have rugged ridge and custom driveshaft and it works great. you will also need adjustable rear upper control arms, and trac bar relocation bracket

I'm using the Advance Adapters & Tom Woods shaft. no issues, and plenty strong enough.

And do i have to get adjustable control arms? Tracbar relocation is there with the lift kit. First time i hear need adjustable control arms. I was looking for tom woods too.

I just got of jb's site. Am very impressed. Plus the most expensive one is 200 dollars cheaper than tom woods. But is the quality as good? I mean if i order the best with these and best with these which product will i be satisfied with more? And do i really need thr adjustable control arms?

True, but i noticed jb comes without the ds. And tom woods uses the jb sye kit ans addes their ds, soo i guess thtas the best combo. But can someone else confirm that i need upper adjustable contol arms? Or since its a longer shaft if will be fine with stock?

And if i only order upper control arms will that solve the vib? And can i adjust them myself? Or is it hard and i need a specialist?

You need the upper control arms to fic your pinion angle after the install. if not you will still have driveline vibes. You will want to get adjustable cointrol arms and yes you can adjust them yourself. the tracbar relocation bracket is so that you dont destroy your gas tank with your track bar. but it is optional and not a risk i was willing to take

I have a tracbar braket. Soo you would get upper control arms first? And its fine if the lowers are RC? And the uppers will be fabtech? That should elimimate some of the vib? Because if i gt uppers then il need 4 months for the sye kit to arrive.

As mentioned prev. the ujoints get a real workout after the lift and I would change to fresh spicers if you have not changed them recently. Also, as mentioned the upper arms set the pinion angle so you need them for the best setup. The rear track bar centers the axle. Get behind your jeep and look close at your tires and if one is moved mire to drivers side or passenger side. If the axle is off center it will effect your drive and even steering. I have a Teraflex long arm with RE adj uppers front and rear and all works great together. When you get your upper arms, post the forum for some help putting them on and setting pinion. It's a pretty easy job but can be a real pain if you just jump into it.

Thanks. Can i order the uppers for now? And adjust the angle and that should reduce vibs? If i adjust the pinion that wont affect the springa and shocks in the back? And since iam taking of the drop kit would u advise front uppers? To adjust angle? Or will it be fine?

You can do it in stages. Putting control arms won't effect your shocks but you may need relocation brackets for the rear shock mounts as they can hit when the axle is turned up. I changed all four uppers a few years ago but I had the SYE kit years before that. I had more problems with my rear axle offset so put the adj rear track bar first. As I mentioned, putting the control arms on is not hard but can be very challenging if you're not careful. As my wife says "it's always something with the Jeep".

Since uam getting the uppers should i get relocation brackets straihht away? Or are they expensive? And where did u purchase urz? Is there a specific type?
