best tube fenders?

I want to run tube fenders eventually. I really like the TNT 4.5 flare but they are a little expensive.

I'm not really going to look at the poison spyder because for no flare with them I can get a flare and larger wheel opening with the TNT for the same price.

also don't like the rev111 tubes

I would really like a larger opening.

options...
BTF, havn't seen many photos www.bluetorchfab.com
overkill engineering. Havn't seen any and very expensive http://www.overkilleng.com/
4 low design http://www.4lodesign.com/ never seen them

I really want a flare of some sort. I have thought about getting a no flare and making something or modifying the factory flares to add some coverage.

thanks

Check out these. http://www.genright.com/ProductInfo....uctid=TFF-2001

I think with the wide bracing on the core and the gusset they have solved the issues of crushing the core and the radiator when taking a hard hit on the side of the fenders.

Hey JeepRocks... what area of louisville you live in? you in any offroad clubs?

I saw a guy in FL who had cut his factory fenders out, and fabricated a tub frame that went around both fenders and down the side like a set of rock sliders then connected to the frame behind the front and rear bumpers.. it was sick looking.

I know that Mr. C runs the rocker rails from BTF on his not sure about the tube fenders he runs though. but you really can't beat the price, from what I've heard from others on this forum that have them they like them. so people who run'em have convinced me and I'm pretty sure thats what I'm goin for.

The BTF tube fenders are great, but they definitely don't have any "flares". They are the same width as the tub itself, and no wider, you get a lot of road dirt thrown at you when it rains. Don't ask how I know...

One-ton truck width, as opposed to Jeep width.

the local 4wd shop wants lots and lots of money to fab stuff. Looks like i'm going to go with the TNT 4.5s Birthday is coming up and I think my family is going to split them like 5 or 6 ways.

I think i'm going to pass on the fenders right now. Going to go with some other things instead. Think i'm going to go with a new set of coils and new shocks instead. Will make the ride a little smoother.
