Best way yo budget lift

Friend with little jeep savvy wants to do a 1-2 inch budget lift on a 05 TJ unlimited. Mostly for looks, no off road other than beach. Best advice would be greatly appreciated. 4.0, automatic with 31 inch tires. Pretty much stock wrangler.

I have 32's on 15x8 with no lift on a 2000 Sport. I've had it for about 2 months. No rubbing, though I havent been off road.

31's are the largest tire you can fit stock. Therefore the only reason you haven't rubbed (noticeably) yet is because you haven't wheeled it yet.

Best bb in my opinion is some 2" spacers, good shocks that are 2" longer than stock, some 2" bumpstop extensions, and 31x10.5 tires. It'll look good and give you a little more ground clearance but avoid driveline troubles and retain stock wheel travel (as long as you get longer shocks).
