A lot of guys in my area run the xrc8 and 4wheelparts has/had a lifetime warrenty.

Granted if I'm 100's of miles from nowhere and nobody, I'd save more for a warn and wouldn't rely on my xrc8 with my life.

I've had it for a year and pulled
2500 4x4 Cummins with a bed full of mulch (I was chained to a tree)
a giant fallen tree to clear a trail
and another TJ.

To get your money's worth buy a snatch block and when your not using it for its proper use.... it makes a killer 94' zipline.

a killer 94 zip line...thats funny.
you just gave me an idea down by the river.

and i love how people talk about life saving equ. the thing is if i knew it were going to be life or death and i need to trust my winch, i wouldnt trust even a WARN. id be carring another for of transportation like a 50-85cc dirt bike that could fit in the back.either that or a pogo stick.

I like my engo. It works and looks good and pulls well. Price was good. But I supposed the warranty and quality of a warn would be nice. i looked for a used one for a whlie but couldn't find one. See if you can.

Eh not so much, the rebate is now $50 not $80 so its a little more, plus shipping....It is a Warn at least and mostly made here, like their other winches....
